Walla Walla Days...
I moved to Walla Walla from Los Angeles last September. From the big city to small town America... every day is an adventure.

Sunday Baking...
Recipes 7, 8, 9 & 10: Banana Orange Muffins, Applesauce Muffins with Agave Nectar, Oaty Peanut Butter & Raisin Cookies (vegan and gluten free), and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies. We're gonna find out how this stuff freezes and defrosts (not overly confident, but here goes...).

Corliss Estates Winery
David and I went to a tasting at Corliss Estates last night. Corliss Estates rarely open their doors to guests - even last night's event was an invite-only occasion. The winery was established by an uber wealthy couple who made a lot of money in Real Estate, and wanted to build a facility and tasting room for their friends to hang out in, in private. The tasting room (for use of a better term - it's huge), is opulent, but somehow it works. It's been beautifully designed, and the materials are gorgeous. They also have a wine library which was, of course, my favorite part.
Cooking Mosaic: Turkey & Crimini Mushroom Meatloaf
I was playing around with my camera settings and somehow managed to get a 01/01/2008 timecode on all of my recent photos - incorrect, I promise! - these images were taken last Sunday (April 29, 2012).
